Philly Culture & Neighborhoods Worth Visiting

Visit Philadelphia Museum of Art:

Home to an impressive collection of art from various periods and cultures. Don't miss the iconic "Rocky" steps outside the museum – a Philly favorite photo op!

Visit Independence Hall:

A crucial site for American history, where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed. You can find a variety of local produce, plants, and other local items. Walk from Rittenhouse Square to Filter Square for a nice stroll lined with coffee shops and restaurants.

Stroll through Filter Square

Fitler Square is a charming and historic neighborhood in Philadelphia, known for its beautiful namesake park, tree-lined streets, and elegant Victorian architecture. It offers a more residential and relaxed atmosphere, while still being close to Center City. Schuylkill River Trail is in this area; this trail is perfect for walking, running or biking.

Take stroll through Society Hill

Society Hill is a historic neighborhood in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, known for its well-preserved 18th and 19th-century architecture, cobblestone streets, and vibrant atmosphere. If you go on Sunday, be sure to check out the Headhouse Farmers Market from 10AM to 1PM.

Coffee Shops

Bars & Nightlife

Blind Barber:

A hidden speakeasy bar in the back of a barber shop that has great cocktails and music. A great spot for singles and those looking to dance -- dancefloor upstairs! Great espresso martinis.

McGillin's Olde Ale House

The oldest continuously operating bar in the entire country, which means it's been serving up good times (and probably some questionable decisions) since way back when. It's a mix of locals and tourists, so you'll get a good vibe. The food is classic pub fare – nothing fancy. A fun unpretentious place to hang out, grab a drink, and see what happens.

SkyHigh Bar

SkyHigh is a luxurious bar located on the 57th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel. Offering phenomenal cocktails and unparalleled views of the city, this is a must! Best spot is to grab a seat at the bar :)
